• Content You Create – posts, comments, or carousels that you choose to generate or schedule with AI.

• LinkedIn Access – limited access to the LinkedIn page you are viewing, in order to insert or schedule your content.

• Usage Data – basic technical information (e.g., feature usage, scheduling actions) to ensure the extension works correctly.
  
  

2. How We Use Your Data

The data is used only to:

• Insert AI-generated posts, comments, or visuals into LinkedIn fields.

• Enable scheduling and publishing features.

• Provide basic analytics about content engagement (visible to you only).

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All data stays on your device unless required for scheduling or analytics features.

• Stored data (such as draft posts or preferences) uses Chrome’s storage.local or storage.sync.

• No LinkedIn credentials are collected or stored.

• All communication with LinkedIn occurs through official APIs or in-page actions triggered by you.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Data is retained only as long as needed for the extension to function (e.g., drafts or scheduled content).

• You may clear all locally stored data anytime through Chrome’s extension settings.

• Disconnecting the extension immediately revokes its access to LinkedIn pages.

5. Third-Party Services

LinkMateAI may use AI services for generating text and images. These services process only the content you provide for generation and do not access any other personal data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Control what the extension inserts or publishes.

• Clear extension data at any time.

• Remove the extension to revoke all access.
